The BMW Championship is a professional golf tournament that is part of the PGA Tour. It is held annually, and is one of the four events in the Tour’s FedEx Cup playoff series. The BMW Championship is a 72-hole stroke play event, and features a field of around 70 golfers who are competing for a prize purse of around $9 million. The tournament is held at a different golf course each year, and has been held at venues around the United States, including Medinah Country Club in Illinois, Crooked Stick Golf Club in Indiana, and Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Illinois. Past winners of the BMW Championship include major champions such as Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh, and Justin Thomas.
